GamePolitics is reporting that Left Behind Games has secured a deal with Wal-Mart stores in Houston and Dallas, Texas to test the viability of its Christian-themed videogames at retail. According to CEO Troy Lyndon, the Christian games market could, "reach $648 Million within the next five years based upon just 3% of videogame sales being in the Christian segment." And apparently Texas is ripe for the Christian games marker as there are approximately 23,000 churches in Texas with nearly 7 million Evangelical and Mainline Protestants.
